The Last Enemy to Overcome is Death

Once upon a time I died.

And when I did they laughed,

While my people cried.

Why are you still crying?

Was my death in vain?

There’s still more out there dying

And yet you are still condensed in this pain.

Stop the tears.

It’s time to take a stand,

And stop feeding into your fears.

My death will not be the status quo.

Please be the change we need in this world.

This new movement needs to grow.

Beyond the entanglement of these vines,

That was created to keep us behind.

My people look up and wipe your tears,

Because you have nothing else left to fear.

Once upon a time I died,

So that you may live.
