Yearning

Lord please heal me!

I’m down begging on my knees!

This pain has gone too far to ease.

Why am i still hurting?

Over and over I’ve given my life to you,

But yet this world seems too good to lose.

I know sometimes i can get lost in her ways,

Going back and forth as the wind sways.

But hear me Lord, hear my cry!

This world has finally sucked me dry!

I thought that i was living good,

I thought that on solid ground was where i stood.

Lord that is why I’m calling on your name,

To help me correct my wrong ways.

I yearn to hear your voice again,

At least so you can ease this pain.

I’m down on my knees,

And I’m pleading Lord forgive me please!
