Lord feed me with your word,

Because I am sick and tired of living in this world.

So many people keep coming against me,

And that is because they can’t see what I see.

The mud has been wiped from my eyes,

Which means that I am no longer blind.

I’m able to walk in your ways,

So please help me get out of this phase.

I’m tired of drowning,

So I pray that your spirit surrounds me.

Encases me and lifts me up,

Until I get to the top.

To sit on the right side of your throne,

Because by you is where I feel most at home.

I am sick and tired of feeling so lost,

That is why I look to the cross.

With Christ is whom I belong,

Because it is through him that I was made strong.

God you have given me the grace to pray,

The grace to kneel down and call upon your name.

And i ask that I am no longer looked upon as a stray,

That i am no longer constantly put to shame.

I no longer want to feel exiled,

But instead I want to walk as your child.

Lord open their eyes so that they can see,

The unwavering love you still have for me.

God I ask this of you because I’m sick and tired,

And it’s time for my life of sin to finally retire.

Lord on bended knees,

I am yelling restore me!

My heart should be a river of flowing waters,

As I finally claim the title of your daughter.

And nobody can say otherwise,

Because it’s finally time for me to rise.

Lord thank you for teaching me your ways,

For teaching me how to sing songs of praise.

For when I was sick and tired,

You saw what I truly desired.

Which is to be loved by you,

And that statement will forever be true.
